Drews Lake Adventuring

Exploring the headwaters of Meduxnekeag Lake, commonly known as Drews Lake, which has borders in the towns of New Limerick, Oakfield, and Linneus, my granddaughter and I paddled to a large beaver home on the Oakfield side. When returning to camp we encountered one of the many eagles we have seen flying around the lake. He was guarding the entrance to our cove and remained motionless until we were really near the rock.
